The Field Application Engineer (FAE) ensures smooth execution of builds, resolves fixture issues, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. Success in this role means delivering accurate build reports, ensuring fixture reliability, and maintaining strong communication with manufacturers and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the company's existing testing platforms, including developing debugging tools.
  • Independently analyze, build data, and generate detailed build reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute test plans and ensure smooth operation of test fixtures during both NPI (New Product Introduction) and MP (Mass Production).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during fixture bring-up and build phases.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication with contract manufacturer factories and end customers.

Qualification:

Education & Experience

Location- Bangalore and chennai

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic product testing with familiarity in industry standards and procedures.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (C/C++, Python, Lua, Objective-C).
  • Hands-on experience in software project development.
  • Strong knowledge of testing software operations and scripting (Shell, Makefile, Python).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Apple product testing processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Apple's product ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Apple Watch, and related wireless components).
