If you are a WordPress Developer with 1-3 years of experience looking to make an impact in a growing startup, we would love to hear from you

Responsibilities

- Develop and Maintain Websites: Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites to ensure high performance and availability.- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with design and content teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.- Customize and Extend: Customize and extend existing themes and plugins, and develop new ones to meet specific project requirements.- Optimize Speed: Implement various speed optimization strategies to achieve the best possible PageSpeed Insight metrics.- SEO Implementation: Apply search engine optimization strategies to ensure a fully SEO-optimized website.- Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve issues related to website functionality and responsiveness.- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Skills

- Extensive knowledge of WordPress development, including theme and plugin development.- Proficiency in executing custom strategies to optimize WordPress performance metrics.- Strong understanding of modern SEO plugins and SEO principles.- Proficiency in popular page builders such as Elementor or WP Bakery Page Builder, with the ability to adapt to new ones.- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to have skills:

- Experience with building websites using platforms like Squarespace, Shopify, BentoBox, etc.- Familiarity with managing and optimizing e-commerce websites.- Basic knowledge of performance monitoring tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar.
