Responsibilities


  • Responsible for initial deployments of routers and respective networking solutions.
  • Stage the customer deployment in lab to replicate field scenarios and test the solution prior to field deployment
  • Design and implement routing switching systems and networks
  • Collaborate with presale and customers to understand the network requirements.
  • Collaborate with Internal R&D team to make sure developed feature/product are as per customer/market need.
  • Responsible for RFI/RFP.
  • Develop High level customer design HLD and able to prepare LLD (Low Level design)
  • Handle product demonstrations, lab and field Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Prepare test plans for POCs, demos and carry out internal testing of the same
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on product capabilities and network solutions
  • Work with the SE team to prepare and enhance solution documents based on lab validation
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, SR, RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, Virtual Chassis etc.)
  • Optimize network performance and ensure high availability
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues with NSG & TAC Team
  • Develop and implement network security measures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies


Experience / Skill Required


  • BE/B Tech or ME/M Tech in CSE/ECE, Networking or Related Field
  • 8 to 12 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols and network architecture
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Should be well versed in IP routing protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, SR
  • Should have understanding and application of MPLS based on LDP, RSVP and BGP
  • Should be an expert in FRR techniques at various layers (IP FRR, RSVP TE FRR)
  • Should be an expert in L2VPN , VPLS , VPWS and L3VPN service constructs
  • Should have hands-on working experience in service provider networks or product testing
  • Should have customer interaction experience
  • Should be willing to travel domestic and abroad
  • Professional level Certification for Service Provider is a plus


Nice to Have:


  • Certification in routing (CCNP, CCIE-SP/JNCIE-SP etc.)
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
