DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Delivery Support. Automate, support, and troubleshoot the software delivery process based on the CI/CD delivery pipelineDevelop and implement automation scripts to manage routine tasks and deployments within the Azure environmentWork closely with the migration team to implement the migration planDelivery environments. Develop and evolve cloud infrastructure environments. Support migration of applications from Datacentre to cloudQuality of delivery. Follow and improve delivery quality standardsContribute ideas through your knowledge of evolving DevOps technologiesBe proactive in communication with team members and clientsBe a part of a positive and fun team environmentCI/CD pipeline. Configure and add new features to the CI/CD pipelineUse industry best practices of DevOps processes & tools, adopt and improve themAnalyse and Estimate. Perform technical assessment of DevOps tasks to ensure the possibility of their implementation within reasonable timeEnd-To-End Delivery pipeline Design. Create and review Delivery Pipeline design documents and provide an optimal solutionTake responsibility over DevOps culture on the projectMentorship of junior colleagues

Requirements

Are guided by best-practices and specifications of such skills:Git, Branching strategies, versioningDeep knowledge on CI/CD toolsAzure cloud service deep knowledge PowerShell/Azure CLI scripting/Azure graphARM Templates/TerraformAzure ADAzure networking – network configuration and security, load balancing, app gateways, etc.PaaS components (app services, functions, MS SQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB, key vaults, Azure VM infrastructure (VMs families, Pricing models, Azure container services (ACS/AKS/ACI)Microservices orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud-managed microservicesPackage ManagementDatabase Administration – relative, non-relative, cachingNetworking AdministrationInfrastructure as a codeDesired State configuration toolsTelemetry Tools (such as New Relic, Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana)Log aggregation tools (such as ELK stack)Code Quality Analysis tools (such as SonarQube, Crucible, ReSharper)Understanding of the Scrum process

Desirable

You should have an idea of the subject and its parts. Can explain. Has experience of use of such skills:Scripting technologiesKnowledge and some experience working with another cloudExperience with database concepts such as querying, indexing, performance tuning, replication, views, etc.Advanced Python or Go knowledgeExperience with large-scale, real-time applicationsExperience building and deploying complex systems to cloud and on-premises
