The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing analytical testing and ensuring product quality across our personal care product lines. This role will collaborate closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence
Responsibilities
Perform and oversee analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Develop and validate analytical methods to assess the quality, stability, and performance of personal care products.
Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to support product development and improvement initiatives.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to analytical testing in the personal care sector.
Drive continuous improvement in laboratory practices, procedures, and documentation
Qualifications & Competencies
Masters/ PhD in Chemistry , Chemical engineering or related field
10-12 Yrs relevant experience in Personal care FMCG
Must have worked in established centralized Analytical set up of large FMCG companies
Must be conversant with analytical requirements for the category
Must be conversant with various new techniques, analytical tools
Must have handled various analytical instruments
Proactive
System & process oriented
Ability to handle pressure
Team player
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting preferred
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, FDA, etc.) is a plus
