Responsibilities
As the product manager you drive the development of the Visics technology landscape both for the life saving VISICS system. Next to that you integrate our secondary processes, such as finance and logistics, needed to run our company. You are involved in Software, hardware and IT Infrastructure developments. In this way you can help shape the future on a very broad set of skills
The landscape consists of IoT devices, new web-based and mobile applications as well as some Backoffice applications. These are used by our operators, partners, clients, and our staff around the world. The end users will use these applications during maintenance and turnaround projects to carry out their jobs or use them as a supporting application to visualize sensor readings and drive interventions. It's up to you to assure the right solutions for the job are built. This role calls for someone who buys into our mission and thrives on a fast-learning environment.
You achieve your goal by acting as the linking pin between Clients, Partners, ATG logistics, and the development organization consisting of a Software, hardware and IT IS team. You collect and structure requirements, plan the R&D process and then assuring proper testing both in our Research labs as well as in the Industrial fields across the globe.
Requirements:
Master or bachelor’s in computer science, Electronics or related field, strong process mindset.
3-6 years experience in product development
Strong background in Product management, role as a product owner for technical product.
Strong demonstratable knowledge in Running a Jira driven pipeline.
Experience in requirements gathering and testing
Program Portfolio Management experience
Understanding of Project management methodologies
Experience at writing Test Programs
Fluent in English
Nice to haves:
Setting up PPM from scratch
Additional Tamil or Dutch language skills
Knowledge of Oil & gas, Chemical, safety, security or surveillance
Driving license
Work permit for the Netherlands
The eventual base location is Zaltbommel, Netherlands and during about 3-4 weeks a year this will be Chennai India. The initial onboarding would be in Chennai, while we process the work permit and we induct you into the product, industry and technology.
