Job Role: SAP SD L2 Support

Total Experience: 6 to 10 years in domain with 5 years of experience in SAP Functional.

SAP SD Incident Management and Technical Support

Provide SME support in resolving SAP application issues, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.

  • Work with SAP SD lead to resolve problems and provide changes as required.
  • Collaborate with technical team to resolve incidents and problem tickets that cannot be solved by the L2 team.
Functional Insights and Support

Provide functional insights to technical teams for incidents and problem tickets related to respective SAP modules in primary and secondary environments.

  • Handle requests through a ticketing tool, following up on incidents and closing them within stipulated SLAs.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of integration scenarios between SD/FI, SD/MM, and SD/PP.
Change Management

Prepare test plans for CRs requiring more than 3 days of effort, medium to complex CRs.

  • Deliver RICEF end-to-end delivery for medium and complex CRs, developing functional specifications, testing, and deployment.
  • Gather and publish data for stakeholders, including MIS, operational KPIs, etc.
  • Manage knowledge through system documentation and user manuals.
  • Regularly collaborate with business/HR to provide SAP process and solution insights for end-user training, new joiners, and chief executives.
  • Manage SAP roles and authorization.
  • Promote continuous business process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Degree: BE/B-Tech/MBA or equivalent.

Certifications (optional): SAP SD, ITIL-F.

Essential Skills
  • Familiarity with all SAP SD concepts, including pricing, document controls, GST, e-invoicing, variant configuration, batch management, credit management/FSCM, etc.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration areas with OTC-ECC/S4 and interfaces with other applications (API, IDOCS, etc.).
  • Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
  • Experience with SAP HANA and exposure to support projects and end-to-end implementation projects.
  • Strong communication and interaction skills with stakeholders (business owners, end-users, solution architects, etc.).
Location and Work Arrangement

Relocate near Karapakkam, Chennai OMR (office location).
