the role
Looking preferably 4 - 7 years of experience from a law firm or in-house legal team of a large company / MNC with strong experience into litigation & managing litigations, disputes proceedings, including intellectual property litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in managing litigations and disputes proceedings, including intellectual property litigation
Coordinating with external legal counsels and internal stakeholders
Drafting pleadings and notices, attending briefings and hearings
Providing legal support for litigations and other dispute proceedings including pre-dispute work
Providing legal support to businesses on a wide range of legal, business and contractual interpretation issues.
Providing legal support for interactions with government, industry bodies and other external stakeholders
Facilitating knowledge management.
Maintaining digital database and expense management.
Updating stakeholders on legal developments, new laws, judicial precedents, regulatory requirements and compliance issues.

Education:
LLB
Experience:
4 – 7 years of relevant experience
Skills/ Knowledge Good to Have:
In-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, intellectual property and criminal litigation and alternate dispute resolution procedures.
Experience in managing litigations and disputes including contractual disputes, consumer complaints, vendor / customer disputes, labour and employment disputes, at different forums.
Superior advocacy skills, ability to effectively communicate and interface with all stakeholders, aptitude for practical negotiation, capability to think clearly under pressure.
Good drafting and analytical skills, commercial acumen and time sensitivity.
Team player and excellent collaborator.
Having a strong desire to learn.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
