Job Summary :

As the Business Intelligence Lead at Shiprocket, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, design and develop data solutions, and generate actionable insights. This role requires expertise in tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, and Metabase, along with a deep understanding of AWS Glue, AWS DMS, and other relevant services.

Key Responsibilities :

- BI Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with the company's business goals.

- Data Visualization: Create compelling and informative dashboards and reports using Tableau, Snowflake, and Metabase.

- Data Modeling: Design and implement effective data models to support reporting and analysis.

- Data Integration: Work with AWS Glue and AWS DMS to ensure seamless data integration and transformation.

- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide data-driven insights, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Report Generation: Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.

- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across all BI solutions.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, fostering their growth and ensuring the successful execution of BI projects.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our BI capabilities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in a related field; a master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and data visualization.

- Proficiency in Tableau, Snowflake, and Metabase.

- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Familiarity with AWS Glue, AWS DMS, and other AWS services related to BI.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.

- Leadership experience and the ability to guide and mentor a BI team.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

- Project management skills to oversee BI projects from conception to (ref:hirist.tech)
