Guide the team in architecture design, code reviews, and best practices for Snowflake and related technologiesDelegate work effectively to team members, providing mentorship and support as neededHands-on coding (50-70%): design, develop, test, and deploy data warehousing solutions on Snowflake
Snowflake Administration:
Manage and monitor Snowflake accounts, warehouses, and databasesImplement and maintain security and access controls, including user roles and permissionsOptimize Snowflake performance, including query optimization and resource managementTroubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issuesDevelop and maintain Snowflake architecture and design documentsExpand technical expertise beyond Snowflake to include hands-on coding experience with complementary technologies like Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other relevant tools to drive comprehensive data solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needsFoster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team
