What we are looking for
Role: Network Architect
Experience Range: 10 – 15 Years
Location: Pune
Must-Have:
IT Landscape Assessment of current Networks and Usage, especially on public cloud (Azure / GCP)
Modern Target State Network Architectures and Designs, including Conceptual Architectures and Technical Architectures. The focus will be on connectivity between cloud network, on-prem and internet
Cloud Network Security Designs, including Zero-Trust, Separation of Environments and Micro-segmentation
Designing of Overlay and Underlay Networks for Hybrid Cloud Connectivity
Cloud Foundational Services, including setting up of Guardrails – this includes designing and setting up of Network Management, Monitoring and Audit
Designing, implementing and supporting SASE products, as well as traditional network and security service insertion / cloud native services where needed
Create Implementation Design of chosen products; integration with existing platforms and tools, including SIEM, firewall management and ITSM
Ability to understand and appreciate underlying business processes and ability to work with business stakeholders, in order to be able to create holistic solutions
Hands-on experience with Designing and Implementing Cloud Solutions
Mandatory: Prior experience as a Network Engineer / Architect with good network skills
Strong Understanding of various Design Patterns and their implementation
Ability to create smart designs that embed Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency and Cost Optimization
Capable of providing multiple solution options for a given problem, along with the Pros and Cons, and being confident when explaining why a particular choice would be the preferred one for a given context, backed by research
A good understanding of Containerization, Microservices would be preferred
