Objectives of the Position          

·      Partnering in the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

·      Play a crucial role in ensuring that compensation practices align with organizational objectives, comply with legal requirements, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

·      Support in other initiatives under the Performance Management, Analytics and Policies portfolio like organizational design, job evaluation, etc.

·      Provide data driven insights for decision making and identifying potential people side risks and developing plans to mitigate them. 


Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

 

Compensation Management & Payroll

·      Support in designing differentiated reward strategy, across different employee segments and levels such as long term incentive programs, Retention programs, various short term incentive programs, etc.

·      Assist in conducting salary surveys and benchmarking exercises to inform decision-making.

·      Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on benefits-related matters.

·      Ensuring monthly inputs for Payroll and liaising with external partners to ensure accurate processing of monthly salaries.

·      Ensure all statutory requirements are complied with, thereby providing relevant data on a periodic basis to auditors and relevant stakeholders.

·      Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on compensation-related topics.

 

Performance Management & Compliance

·      Support the annual performance review process by providing data and analysis on compensation-related metrics.

·      Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

·      Assist in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

·      Support audits and inquiries related to compensation and benefits practices.

 

HR Projects:

·      Ensuring proper organization design & grade structure with job evaluation studies

·      Drive digital transformation to ensure that reward strategy is executed across the organization.

·      Support in maintaining overall HR Dashboard and Analytics - TA, Learning, Exit, etc. analytics

Job Requirements (minimum requirement to carry out the work)

Education

  • Bachelors in any discipline and MBA in HR (Tier 2 institutes preferred)
  • Any other relevant certifications such as job evaluation

Working Experience

  • Minimum experience 5 - 8 years of experience in HR Operations / Compensation & Benefits role / Rewards role
  • Indian and MNC company exposure is preferred.
  • Experience with consultancy is an added advantage.

Technical & Professional Skills

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

§ Understanding compliance, acts and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits

§ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

§ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

§ Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, HRIS and payroll processes

  • Good analytical skills for MIS, number crunching & reporting to internal & external customers
  • Self-motivated, performance-orientation with high level of ownership.
  • Ability to engage diverse and senior stakeholders and navigate both strategic tasks and hands-on work.
