Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building secure, high-performing backend systems, working on RESTful APIs, and integrating with databases and cloud services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clean and scalable code and solve real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable Java-based applications
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues promptly
  • Ensure code quality via unit tests, integration tests, and code reviews
  • Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases for data modeling and performance
  • Follow agile practices, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Maintain clear documentation for code and systems

Must-Have Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in Java 8 or later
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and multi-threading
  • Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.)
  • Solid experience with REST API development
  • Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Good communication skills, especially for remote collaboration during US hours

Good to Have:

  • Experience in microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
  • Understanding of DevOps pipelines
  • Experience working with international clients or remote teams
