About the role  As a  P&ID Solutions Engineer , you will apply your process or mechanical engineering background to interpret and analyze complex piping and instrumentation diagrams. You will transform these diagrams into high-quality, structured data using Cerebre’s proprietary tools, ensuring accuracy in representing process flow, instrumentation, and system interactions.   In this role, you’ll work closely with a global team of engineers to support the digitization of highly complex process systems. You will leverage your knowledge of equipment, control logic, and process flow to contribute to precise, scalable solutions that enable our clients to make better, faster operational decisions.   This is an opportunity to be part of a high-growth U.S.-based startup as we expand operations in Asia. You’ll have the chance to deepen your technical expertise , influence evolving workflows, and help shape the future of industrial data transformation.   Required Skills   Engineering degree  in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience).   Proven experience interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) , including equipment, instrumentation, and control logic.   Strong understanding of process flow, instrumentation, and industrial systems  in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or manufacturing.   Familiarity with process safety documentation and industry standards .   Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills  for working with highly complex diagrams.   Attention to detail  in identifying and resolving inconsistencies in diagram data and process representation.   Proficiency in documenting technical information  in a clear, structured, and concise manner.   Strong verbal and written communication skills in English  for effective collaboration across teams.   Preferred Skills   Understanding of data structures and database-driven applications  (especially graph databases).   Experience working in a global or cross-cultural engineering environment.   Continuous improvement mindset  with the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization.   Familiarity with specialized engineering software  for P&ID digitization, diagram interpretation, or industrial process modeling.   Exposure to digital twin concepts  and industrial data integration.   Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering and QA teams .   More about Cerebre   We are cross-functional collaborators.     We blend manufacturing process knowledge with software and big data engineering expertise to create value in physical settings   We are experienced.     We are armed with industry-leading experts in numerical simulation, combustion, power, computational fluid dynamics, and chemical process modeling   We are serious builders.     We develop our platforms using leading practices in IT/OT architecture, OT security, AI architecture, ML Ops, and Platform engineering
