About Us

Meru Technosoft is building , an AI-powered accounting and finance automation platform designed for SMEs. We are looking for a talented Integration Developer to build seamless data pipelines between QuickBooks and HelloBooks using APIs and webhooks. This role is critical to ensuring businesses can migrate, sync, and automate their accounting data with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement QuickBooks to HelloBooks integration using REST APIs and webhooks.
  • Handle authentication (OAuth 2.0), API rate limits, and secure data transfer.
  • Develop data mapping and transformation logic for customers, vendors, invoices, payments, chart of accounts, and taxes.
  • Implement real-time sync using webhooks, along with retry and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Ensure accounting principles (double-entry, reconciliations, closing periods) are preserved during integration.
  • Build a monitoring and logging system for integration jobs.
  • Work with the product and accounting teams to validate workflows and ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation for endpoints, field mappings, and setup steps.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with API integrations (QuickBooks Online API experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of webhooks, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous processing.
  • Proficiency in / Python / JavaScript (one of these is mandatory).
  • Solid understanding of accounting workflows (double-entry, taxation, reconciliations).
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, REST APIs, JSON, and error-handling best practices.
  • Ability to build scalable, secure, and maintainable integration services.

Good to Have

  • Prior work with SaaS-based financial tools.
  • Exposure to multi-currency handling and localization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Experience with middleware or iPaaS tools (Zapier, Integromat, Workato).
