Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Sr. Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic team at a health-focused café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining our café's commitment to fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals. You will oversee a section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and efficiency in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and execute dishes as per the café's health-focused menu, including salads, smoothies, fresh juices, gut shots, and wholesome meals. - Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring timely preparation and high-quality output. - Maintain high levels of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety as per FSSAI regulations. - Ensure portion control and minimize food wastage. - Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and seasonal menu items. - Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and procurement. - Train and guide junior kitchen staff and commis chefs. - Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
Qualifications & Skills: - Experience: 2-4 years as a CDP or Demi CDP in a café, restaurant, or health-focused F&B establishment. - Education: Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred. - Strong knowledge of healthy cooking techniques, plant-based dishes, superfoods, and alternative ingredients. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and quality. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Strong knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen best practices. - Passion for health-conscious, clean, and nutritious cooking. - Team player with good communication skills.
