Job Summary:
UWC AND CT Ventures Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a dynamic Finance Controller who will act as a Business Finance Manager, playing a critical role in analyzing financial data, controlling costs, budgeting, forecasting, and engaging in strategic discussions to drive the organization’s growth. The ideal candidate will serve as a custodian of all controls designed around processes and guidelines, highlighting any deviations and initiating corrective actions.
# Key Responsibilities:
(•) Financial Reporting & Analysis :
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Perform activities such as balance sheet (BS) and profit & loss (P&L) analysis, managing cash flows and fund flows, and filing tax returns (direct and indirect), as well as Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and other related statutory compliance.
(•) Performance & Cost Management:
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports, identifying significant issues and reporting them to management.
Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and indirect vendor payments.
Ensure prompt collection of accounts receivable, monitoring for any revenue loss or bad debts.
(•) Payroll & Compliance:
Prepare, check, and process monthly payroll in a timely manner, ensuring all deductions comply with applicable laws.
Maintain relationships with external parties such as banks, financial institutions, auditors, consultants, and vendors, handling matters related to finance, fundraising, and accounting, including audits and taxation.
(•) Banking & SAP Integration:
Coordinate with banks for yearly reviews and the issuance of bank guarantees.
Oversee the integration and migration of data from previous accounting software to SAP, generating required reports and management packages.
(•) Internal Controls & Compliance:
Maintain a robust system of controls over accounting transactions, review and approve entries for final posting, and manage audit trail records as per legal requirements.
(•) HR & Administration:
Manage HR and administrative department personnel, overseeing their functions as they relate to finance and compliance.
(•) Additional Duties:
Perform other controller duties as necessary to support the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives.
# Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification CA is mandatory.
Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
