Position: Sr Engineer Job Description Handle RFQs and participate in technical discussions & sign-off with customers Design and develop new products (Automotive switches & sensors) Create 3D models and prepare 2D engineering drawings Conduct DFMEA, DFM, DFA activities Perform product costing and feasibility analysis Carry out design analysis including calculations and tolerance stack-up Review & finalize DVP in collaboration with the customer Support prototype development and validation Lead design reviews with customer and internal CFT teams Conduct and approve DFM reviews and tool design reviews Coordinate with cross-functional teams for tooling, process development, and product testing Perform product benchmarking and competitive analysis Lead troubleshooting for product quality issues during development and field/customer feedback Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive engineering or equivalent 4–6 years of hands-on experience in product design (automotive preferred) Strong knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes Proficient in CAD software (CREO / CATIA) Good understanding of product development processes & engineering standards Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
