Job Description :


- Overall experience of 9+ years and considerable 2+ experience in GCP and Devops

- Experience in design, develop and deploy GCP resources as Infra-as-code in Google Cloud Platform

- Strong GCP cloud concepts and Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong Knowledge in Automation frameworks, CI/CD process and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Sonarqube etc.)

- Experience in coding and scripting solutions such as bash, python and power shell, etc Hands on is a must.

Role Overview :


We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes, ensure high availability, and maintain security and compliance across our GCP environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure Management : Design, build, and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.

- CI/CD Pipelines : Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Google Cloud Build.

- Automation : Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Google Deployment Manager, or Ansible.

- Monitoring and Logging : Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Google Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.

- Security : Ensure best practices in cloud security, including IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.

- Collaboration : Work closely with software development teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment strategies.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application performance.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of (X) years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in GCP services and tools (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Google Cloud Build).

- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Deployment Manager).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Google Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Programming/Scripting : Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

- Security : Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification or other relevant GCP certifications.

- Experience : Experience with multi-cloud environments or other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Tools : Familiarity with additional DevOps tools (e.g., Helm, Prometheus, Grafana).
