MedGenome is the founding member of GenomeAsia 100K, an initiative to sequence 100,000 Genomes in Asia.

We have an exciting opportunity for the position of Scientific Lead - Oncology in Bengaluru location. It is a full time and work from office opportunity.

Skills and Experience Required:

- 5+ years of experience as a Bioinformatician or Business analyst or Product specialist or domain expert or scientific lead with clinical/healthcare software development or clinical genomics / NGS Diagnostics company.- Domain Knowledge: In-depth experience and knowledge of clinical Oncogenomics/ clinical genetics and Next generation sequencing based diagnostics- Product Management: Should have experience with Bioinformatics or genomics software product development/Product support as a product analyst or domain specialist or scientific expert.- Software development life cycle: Should be aware of software lifecycle and its various stages. Experience with requirement analysis, translation of requirements in software design and with functional testing is preferred.- Bioinformatics databases and tools: Should have good knowledge of genomic variant and disease databases, NGS bioinformatics secondary/tertiary analysis tools, NCBI/Ensemble tools and general NGS data analysis workflows- Working knowledge of: MS word, Excel, Powerpoint, SVN, user interface design tools, project management life cycle and tools etc- Communication skills: Should have excellent with English verbal and writing skills. Experience with lifesciences related content creation. Presentations and paper publications is preferred.- Compliances/Guidelines Knowledge: Should have exposure to AMP/ASCO/ACMG/WHO/NCCN guidelines for Oncology molecular reporting.

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D in Molecular biology/ clinical genomics/ Human genetics OR BTech/BE/Masters/Advance diploma in Bioinformatics, computational biology, computer sciences/ Human genetics/Bio-Medical genetics with relevant experience preferably in OncoGenomics.
