Job Description: Senior SAP MM IS-Retail Consultant AMS Project

Role: SAP MM IS-Retail Consultant
Project Type: AMS (Application Management Services)
Location: (Hyderabad)
Experience: 5+ years in SAP MM, with at least 1-2 years in IS-Retail
Shift: Willing to work in shifts as per client requirement (e.g., EST time zone)
Notice Period: Immediate or short notice preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for SAP MM and IS-Retail modules in an AMS environment
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements related to SAP MM and IS-Retail
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve recurring issues
  • Work closely with business users to understand support requirements
  • Ensure smooth operation of SAP MM processes such as Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics
  • Maintain IS-Retail specific configurations like Article Master, Merchandise Categories, Assortments, Listing, and Site Master
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, FI, POS integration, etc.)
  • Prepare technical and functional documentation as required
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and testing activities

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM (Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in SAP IS-Retail module: Article Master, Site Master, Assortment Management, Pricing, etc.
  • Experience working in AMS or support projects
  • Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules (SD, FI, WM, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Good to Have:

  • Experience with IDocs, interfaces, and debugging
  • Understanding of retail business processes
  • SAP Certification in MM or IS-Retail (optional)
