Job Purpose/summary
A Cyber focused Threat Monitor and Response Engineer - help with the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support our internal business critical systems. Look after services Lifecycle management (development, build, maintenance, and improvement) of the end to end / full-stack cyber security logging & monitoring platform. Supporting the business to transition to a more flexible, scalable approach that supports a distributed workforce and hybrid working mode.Key responsibilities
Work alongside the Security Operations Engineer/s in a DevOps team collaborating with the Security Operations Centre, Security Operations Governance teams and global business unit stakeholders on the design, deployment and management of core security tooling focusing on risk reduction Assisting the engineers to execute delivery plans in collaboration with wider Cyber Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to implement security tools and capabilities Work with the Technology development and network teams to assist the TMR engineer to implement appropriate security solutions and tools based on the level of risk identified Build and grow clear understanding through facilitation of documenting of processes related to cyber security tooling Assisting with security automation tooling and developing playbooks and workflows based on operational use cases Support the integration and implementation of security controls for global Information Technology platforms, capabilities and applications to ensure adherence to critical business objectives, regulatory requirements and cyber security policies Maintain detailed knowledge of emerging threats, risks, technical innovations and security capabilities Support the continuous improvement of Maersk’s capability to detect and respond to incidents by collaborating with other teams across Cyber Operations Assisting the TMR Engineers on key cyber security uplift projects, representing the SOC, delivering results and embedding new capabilities into BAU Understand and build your capability to be hands on with a wide range of Cyber Security related toolsets, SIEM, EDR/MDR, Vulnerability management, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, Firewalls, Networks, Deception tech, UEBA, IDS/IPS to name a few.Primary internal stakeholders

Written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel A well organised, motivated, and self-starting individual Understanding of security management and software operating system layers Ability to assist engineers to generate high quality accessible solution documentation Ability to understand powershell/ python scripting and API concepts. Willing attitude in dealing with teams, business units, non-security areas outside of security operations Willing to learn working with cloud-based security solutions Open mindset to working in an Agile environment with fasting moving changes Certifications such as CompTIA+, CEHExperience:
