This internship will provide hands-on experience in compliance management, risk assessments, policy development, and security frameworks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and review of security policies, procedures, and controls. Support risk assessments and compliance audits for regulatory and industry standards (e.G., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR). Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Help track and document security risks, incidents, and compliance gaps. Assist in vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence. Participate in internal security awareness programs and training sessions. Support the team in maintaining compliance documentation and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance requirements are met. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of IT security, risk management, and compliance concepts. Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or GDPR is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
