Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Counselor. As a Student Counselor, you will be responsible for providing career counseling and mentoring to students. This includes matching students to suitable careers, helping them choose the best course, country, and university, and assisting with university applications and profile evaluation. You will also provide guidance on test preparation, student visas, scholarships, and funding.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Student Counselor in a Study Abroad Consulting company
- Strong skills in student counseling and career counseling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the education system
- Ability to provide guidance on course, country, and university selection
- Experience in test preparation and university application processes
- Familiarity with student visas, scholarships, and funding opportunities
- A passion for education and helping students achieve their goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and with diverse student populations
- Experience in the education industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, or a related field
