Purpose:

The Region Head- Data Center Project is a senior leadership role within our organization, responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for data center projects in the specified region. The ideal candidate will have 22-25 years of extensive experience in the Data Center industry, with a proven track record in project management, MEP, civil construction, and design coordination. The incumbent will play a critical role in managing the entire project life cycle, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. As a key leader, the Region Head- Data Center Project will be expected to demonstrate exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

Experience:

  • Minimum 22-25 years of experience in the Data Center industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successful project management and leadership
  • Proven experience in MEP, civil construction, and design coordination

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the entire Data Center Project life cycle management, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring efficient project delivery and effective resource utilization
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems within the data center projects
  • Oversee civil construction activities, including site preparation, structural work, and infrastructure development
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of all project design aspects
  • Champion quality assurance processes, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality project deliverables
  • Drive Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance across all project activities, fostering a culture of safety and adherence to regulations

Education Qualification:

  • B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification is an added advantage

Certification Required:

  • Professional certifications in project management and construction industry standards

Behavioral Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and strategic management abilities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Data Center project management
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and best practices
  • Proficiency in civil construction and infrastructure development

Non-Negotiable Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record of successful project management and leadership
  • Proven experience in MEP, civil construction, and design coordination
