Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning Operator for a contract-based position in our Hyderabad facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in operating CNC turning machines, ensuring precision machining of aerospace components to exacting specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC turning machines to produce aerospace components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Set up, adjust, and monitor CNC turning equipment for optimal performance.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Troubleshoot machine or program issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inspection results.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain machine cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming basics (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred) is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts as per production requirements.
