  • Develop test and maintain software forembedded systems using the Zephyr OS.
  • Designand implement device drivers communication protocols and othersystemlevel software components.
  • Collaboratewith hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of softwarewith hardware platforms.
  • Optimize software forperformance memory usage and power consumption.
  • Participate in code reviews debugging and troubleshootingto ensure highquality software deliverables.
  • Document software designs interfaces andprocedures.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experience with IoT development anddeployment.
  • Familiarity with development toolssuch as GCC GDB and CMake.
  • Contributions toopensource projects particularly Zephyr OS.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of firmware forembedded devices using Zephyr RTOS.
  • Architectand design software systems including device drivers kernel modulesand middleware.
  • Mentor junior engineers andprovide technical guidance to the team.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including hardwaresoftware and product management to deliver highqualityproducts.
  • Conduct performance analysis andoptimization of firmware.
  • Ensure compliancewith industry standards and best practices in firmwaredevelopment.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in ElectricalEngineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in firmware development forembedded systems.
  • Deep understanding of theZephyr RTOS and its architecture.
  • Proficiencyin C and C programming languages.
  • Experiencewith hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g. GPIO I2CSPI UART CAN).
  • Strong debugging skills usingtools like JTAG oscilloscope and logic analyzers.
  • Experience with version control systems such asGit.
  • Excellent communication and leadershipskills.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experience in wireless communication technologies (e.g.WiFi Bluetooth LoRa).
  • Knowledge ofcybersecurity principles in embedded systems.
  • Track record of contributing to opensourceprojects.
  • Familiarity with Agile developmentmethodologies.
