Your role
If you are a highly motivated and experienced Test manager/ engineer, we are excited to hear from you. We are looking for strong candidates to develop and maintain test frameworks for a solution consisting of several applications and microservices. The position includes identifying and configuring defining the necessary test frameworks, working with the dev teams to define and maintain the test cases, and drive overall test progress

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in defining test frameworks and test cases, and managing test execution on all levels. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our systems, focusing on Azure cloud infrastructure and advanced DevOps practices.

Objectives

• implement scalable test frameworks building on available best practices within the company and beyond
• collaborate and work with application development teams to design and implement all necessary test cases and provision test data
• work with technical leads and architects to understand test requirements

Your team
You'll be working in the Enterprise Data Mesh team in Hyderabad. We are a global team that provides innovative solutions to manage sensitive data. The solution portfolio ranges from data analysis over data transformation to AI based data generation. The team is international, with footprints in three continents. You will be working closely with technology experts across UBS Technology. As a test manager and engineer, you will be part of a committed, quality driven technical group working on Kubernetes, MS Azure, Gitlab CI/CD, Databricks, and more. You will have a chance to define and build patterns, practices, automate processes, participate in the inner-source campaign, and influence the test culture at UBS.

Your expertise

• 8+ years experience in software testing, both with designing test frameworks and managing test execution.
• experience in test management tool- Squash
• experience with advanced test frameworks
• designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and test frameworks
• experience with CI/CD pipelines to execute tests
• automating test processes for cloud-based applications and services
• leading cross-functional teams to continuously improve test coverage, effectiveness and efficiency

Your Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Your Technical Skills

• proficiency in relevant test frameworks for regression and application testing (for NodeJS, Python, React).
• extensive hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• advanced knowledge of public cloud services, preferably Azure services including AKS, App Services, and Networking.
• proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• certifications: Relevant certifications are highly preferred.
