About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer Trainer to join our dynamic training team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data engineering and a passion for teaching and mentorship. The Data Engineer Trainer will be responsible for developing comprehensive training modules and delivering engaging and effective training sessions to new hires and existing employees enhancing their skills in data engineering.
Shift: US Shift Time
Employment Type: Full-time, Work from Office
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and update training curricula and materials based on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars in a clear and concise manner, ensuring high levels of participant engagement and knowledge retention.
Mentorship: Provide one-on-one mentorship and support to trainees, helping them overcome learning hurdles and advance their technical skills.
Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to measure trainee progress and the effectiveness of the training program.
Collaboration: Work closely with the data engineering team to understand their training needs and align training objectives with business goals.
Feedback Implementation: Continuously seek and incorporate feedback to improve training methods and materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and understandable manner.
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
