Job Title: Packaging Supervisor – Manufacturing & Packaging

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging Supervisor to oversee packaging operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will lead a team to ensure products are packaged efficiently, safely, and meet all quality standards in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily packaging activities and staff to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.
• Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate packaging team members on operating procedures, equipment use, and quality expectations.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages or excess.
• Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistent and high-quality packaging processes.
• Coordinate closely with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet production schedules and delivery targets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or bottlenecks in the packaging process, ensuring minimal disruptions.
• Carry out regular inspections and basic maintenance of packaging equipment; escalate major maintenance needs.
• Ensure required documentation and records for packaging operations are accurate and complete.
• Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field preferred; substantial relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 1 year experience in packaging or manufacturing supervision.
• Strong knowledge of packaging processes, materials, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and training abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
