Position: Credit HeadTotal Experience: 10+ years

Relevant Experience:Minimum 10 years in credit management, with significant exposure to the real estate finance industry.Proven experience in team handling.

Qualification:MBA, CA, or CFA

Industry:Extensive experience in credit management within the real estate finance industry. Preferred background in Investment Banking (IB) or Financial Institutions, specifically in the Real Estate Department.

Reporting To:Senior Management

Location:Mumbai-HO with travel as per the requirements of the role.Skills / Competencies:Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.Self-starter with a robust understanding of financial products and services related to real estate development projects.Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented and results-driven, focused on delivering high-quality work and achieving organizational objectives.Proficient in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and real estate-specific financial analysis.Strong negotiation skills and ability to liaise with bankers and external agencies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Analytical skills, attention to detail, financial acumen, and integrity.

Responsibilities:Lead the credit function, ensuring robust evaluation and approval processes.Interact with clients to understand their requirements, collate necessary data, and prepare and submit proposals to Banks/FIs.Conduct in-depth credit assessments involving financial, credit, legal, technical, economic, and risk analysis.Structure proposals, review information memoranda, teasers, financial models, cash flow, and CMA projections.Maintain a solution-oriented attitude, resolving queries from banks and clients.Build and maintain relationships at top levels of financial institutions.Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate finance landscape, providing strategic insights to senior management.Oversee transaction structuring, due diligence, and documentation.Manage multiple transactions concurrently.
