As part of Team Amex, you'll experience this powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a leader, and grow your career.Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express.How will you make an impact in this role?Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow, and data output and reporting capabilitiesCoordinates new data development and ensures consistency and integration with the existing data warehouse structureCreates Tableau dashboards that provide the ability to answer a variety of questions quickly and efficientlyReviews business requests for data and data usageArticulates user stories and use cases for data requestsMeets regularly with internal stakeholders to determine analytical needs and translates requirements into ready to use dashboards, reports, and/or other analytics resourcesParticipates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionalityCoordinates and participates in the testing of new data models and analytical toolsCreates, updates and maintains of documentation for data dictionaries, dashboards, and other analytical toolsProvides analytical support to ongoing projects and adhoc data requestsMinimum QualificationsMinimum 0-5 years of experience in Data AnalysisExpertise and demonstrated experience in TableauSQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysisDemonstrated expertise building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar softwareFamiliarity with statistical methods and conceptsExperience working with large datasets, including planning, conducting, interpreting, and explaining the outcomes of data analysesBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc).Demonstrated ability to learn new things – new techniques, tools and approaches to solve questionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompliance LanguageWe back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
