Key Responsibilities:Develop and design electrical system layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs using

Microstation

software.Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations related to electrical design in the oil and gas industry.Collaborate with project engineers and other team members to interpret electrical design requirements and ensure that designs meet project specifications.Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation, including drawings, calculations, and design reports.Provide technical support to construction and commissioning teams during the execution phase of projects.Conduct design reviews and ensure that all electrical designs meet the specified client requirements and project schedules.Perform design changes and revisions based on project feedback and ensure traceability of modifications.Assist in the preparation of material requisitions, equipment specifications, and vendor data review.Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, issues, and project timelines.Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated and seamless design output.Requirements:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.Experience:Minimum of

5-7 years

of experience in electrical design, with at least

3-5 years

of hands-on experience using

Microstation

in the oil and gas industry.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and cable tray design.Experience working on offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.Software Skills:Proficient in using

Microstation

for electrical design drafting.Familiarity with electrical design software tools and AutoCAD (preferred).Knowledge of Industry Standards:Knowledge of relevant electrical design codes, including IEC, NEC, IEEE, and local oil and gas industry standards.Experience with

IEC Ex

and hazardous area classification designs is a plus.Skills:Strong technical problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret complex design specifications and project requirements.Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Certifications:
