We work collaboratively with teams in India and Canada, seamlessly blending the best of both worlds in a hybrid work setting.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead and inspire multiple teams of Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Payroll Specialists, each responsible for monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, tax filings, payroll processing, and other time-sensitive deliverables for diverse clientsEnsure flawless and timely delivery within agreed SLAs, balancing both schedule and budget adherence, while proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or issuesUphold the highest quality standards through the consistent use of Enkel-approved tools, systems, and processes, driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting deliverablesServe as the primary point of contact for client delivery, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and effectively handling escalations to ensure client satisfactionBuild and maintain a collaborative, productive relationship with the Enkel Onshore team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on client objectives and service deliveryTake ownership of building and nurturing a high-performing team, focusing on recruitment, talent development, and succession planning to support team growth and operational scalabilityLead efforts to continuously improve accounting processes, implementing best practices to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve the overall efficiency of the service deliveryActively monitor and manage team performance, ensuring key accounting deliverables such as month-end close, financial statements, and client reporting are consistently accurate and on timeDrive accountability within the team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and promoting a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and operational disciplineRequired Skills and Experience:15+ years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing industry, focusing on delivering accounting servicesProven track record of success in delivering accounting/bookkeeping services for Canadian / UK / Australian / US clients, consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations5+ years of BU leadership experience managing high-performing teams in an onshore-offshore modeStrong expertise in building and growing teams, with a focus on scaling operations, talent development, and ensuring timely, accurate accounting deliverablesDemonstrated ability to create efficient workflows, implement quality control measures, and standardize processes to enhance operational effectivenessDeep understanding of service delivery, including experience with financial statements, compliance reporting, and other accounting deliverables, while managing risk and ensuring adherence to quality standardsExceptional communication skills, including proficiency in both verbal and written English, to effectively coordinate between clients and teamsProven ability to improve operations by addressing common challenges like process bottlenecks, missed deadlines, and accuracy issues in deliverablesEducational Qualifications:Postgraduate degree in Business / Commerce Preference for candidates with CA, CPAPerks and Benefits:Comprehensive medical insurance coverage.Organizational-funded training and certifications, ensuring your continuous professional development.Join Enkel and be at the forefront of a transformative journey, where not just the team but each individual contributes to shaping the future of accounting services.
