Job Title: Design Engineer


Overview: We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer / Draftsman with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role you will consist of the creation and redline modification of project design drawings and documentation. You will ensure drawings and documents are technically correct and completed on time. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in engineering principles, proven track record as a Draftsman in SolidWorks, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and advance your career in project management and engineering.


Key Responsibilities:


  • The role is based in Bengaluru, India under the supervision and leadership of the design engineering team in Houston Texas USA
  • Generate specific pump parts and assemblies in 3D using SolidWorks. That includes casted, welded and machined parts modeling as well as customer facing documents
  • Generate 2D detailed drawings using ASME Y14.5 standard
  • Revise drawings when requested by the operation team by following the ECR (Engineering Change request) process


Qualifications:


  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing/design, and a desire for being hands on
  • Advanced SolidWorks skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work well in an engineering environment
  • Good time management and teamwork skills
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work independently as well as being great team player
  • Must have excellent writing and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Candidate must be computer literate and proficient in Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, compressors) and fabricated pumping systems a plus but not required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or mechanical engineering
