Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in line with hygiene and cleanliness standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming atmosphere for clients, guests, or residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies
• Properly handle and store cleaning products and equipment
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard and within given timeframes
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
