Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day store and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials.
  • Maintain accurate stock registers and conduct regular physical verification of inventory.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of materials.
  • Ensure proper handling, stacking, and preservation of timber, hardware, and consumables.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Work closely with project and site teams to dispatch materials as per requirements.
  • Manage inward/outward documentation such as goods receipt notes, issue slips, and delivery challans.
  • Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure safe material handling practices.
  • Implement best practices in warehouse organization, housekeeping, and safety.
  • Guide and supervise store staff to maintain discipline and efficiency in daily operations.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will hold a graduate degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or a related field, with 47 years of hands-on experience in store and inventory management—preferably in the construction, building materials, or manufacturing industries.

Strong knowledge of stock control, documentation, and supply coordination is essential. Candidates should possess an excellent, detail-oriented approach to organization.
