Connect with us to explore collaborations and discover how DSRI can support your specific requirements.Role Description — CFD Engineer:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer located in Hyderabad.The CFD Engineer will be responsible for performing advanced fluid flow and thermal simulations, conducting hydrodynamic and aerodynamic analyses, and evaluating system behavior under steady and transient operating conditions. Responsibilities include developing and validating CFD models, executing mesh generation and refinement strategies, studying pressure loads and flow-induced effects, and optimizing designs for improved performance and reliability. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support component development, environmental testing, and fluid–structure interaction assessments while ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards.Qualifications:Proficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), fluid mechanics, and heat transferStrong understanding of turbulence modeling, external and internal flow analysis, and multiphase/thermal simulationsExperience with steady-state and transient CFD simulationsFamiliarity with mesh generation, refinement techniques, and numerical methodsUnderstanding of flow-induced forces, vibration, and fluid–structure interaction is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environmentBachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Marine, or a related fieldExperience with CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or COMSOL is an advantage
