Job Summary:

MGB & Co. LLP is seeking Associates and Senior Associates to join our Statutory Audit team. These roles are ideal for newly qualified Chartered Accountants or professionals with up to 5 years of experience in statutory audits. The candidates will work closely with senior team members, gaining valuable exposure to a diverse client base and building expertise in audit methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in statutory audit assignments, including financial statement preparation and review under IND AS.
  • Work under the guidance of senior team members to ensure timely and quality completion of audit engagements.
  • Engage with clients to gather necessary information, discuss audit findings, and address their queries.
  • Prepare detailed working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions.
  • Stay updated with auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry-specific regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-5 years of experience in statutory audits.
    • Post-qualification experience in statutory audit, preferably in a CA firm
  • Good knowledge of Ind AS, Companies Act, and Standards on Auditing.
  • Experience in reviewing work papers, and good communication skills
  • Audit documentation and audit tools
  • Proficient in MS Excel
