Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress + SEO Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, along with a proven track record in optimizing websites for search engines.

You will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing WordPress websites while ensuring they are SEO-friendly and fully optimized for both speed and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites according to industry best practices.

- Customize themes and plugins to suit project requirements.

- Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and user-friendly across all devices.

- Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase website visibility.

- Conduct website audits, including technical SEO audits, and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Optimize website content for SEO, including meta tags, headings, alt attributes, and URL structures.

- Integrate SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO plugins for tracking and reporting.

- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content strategies.

- Keep up to date with SEO trends and changes in algorithms to ensure ongoing website optimization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues such as performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, or SEO challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer with a focus on SEO.

- Proficiency in WordPress CMS, including theme development, custom plugins, and WooCommerce.

- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.

- Experience using SEO tools (e.g, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) and implementing them in website projects.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

- Experience with responsive design, web performance optimization (WPO), and website speed improvement techniques.

- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO reporting tools.

- Ability to optimize websites for core web vitals and mobile-first indexing.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with schema markup, structured data, and rich snippets.

- Familiarity with other CMS platforms like Shopify or Magento is a plus.

- Knowledge of website security practices.

- Basic understanding of content marketing and keyword research
