Job Overview:

We are looking for a driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a knack for creating impactful social content, understanding SEO, and managing multiple social media channels. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our social media strategies to build brand awareness, drive engagement, and reach our target audiences effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content for social media channels, including posts, stories, graphics, and short videos tailored for different platforms.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and manage MapOut’s presence on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
  • SEO & Optimization: Implement SEO best practices in social media posts and content descriptions to improve visibility and search ranking, and manage off-page SEO activities on platforms like Quora, Reddit etc.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with the business team to create, schedule, and execute social media campaigns aligned with larger business goals
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, provide regular reports, and use data insights to optimize content and strategy.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster an online community aligned with our brand values.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media and digital marketing trends to keep our content fresh and engaging.


Requirements:

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to social content.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail and design.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple channels and projects.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with video content creation and/or basic video editing.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and metrics (e.g., engagement rate, CTR, impressions).
