Role Overview:
We are seeking Content Strategist & Copywriter who can blend sharp strategy with witty wordplay, and turn ideas into content that sparks curiosity, drives engagement, and builds trust in our brand. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and storyteller, someone who can think structurally about brand growth while writing in a way that feels effortless, witty, and human.
Skill Sets Needed:
- Proven experience in content strategy, social media marketing, or copywriting
- (agency or D2C brand experience preferred).
- Strong grasp of Instagram-native content formats (reels, carousels, stories, ads).
- Exceptional copywriting skills — witty, concise, and audience-first.
- Understanding of youth culture, 420 community, and lifestyle-driven branding.
- Collaborative mindset to work across creative teams (design, video, marketing).
- Bonus: Experience with paid media ad copywriting and trend-driven content creation.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Strategy: Mapping out monthly content calendars, defining content buckets, and ensuring our messaging aligns with brand tonality — playful, edgy, and community-first.Concept Creation: Dreaming up creative concepts for carousels, reels, static posts, ads, and campaigns that break clutter and resonate with 420 culture.Copywriting: Writing scroll-stopping captions, scripts, ad copy, and micro-copy that feels natural, engaging, and true to our Culture Bender persona.
- Platform Mastery: Staying on top of Instagram/Meta algorithms, cultural trends, and community insights to keep our content relevant and discoverable.
- Execution & Collaboration: Working closely with designers, videographers, and editors to bring concepts to life with consistency and flair.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or social media marketing
- Strong portfolio of content work — captions, ad copy, campaign narratives, or creative writing samples.
