Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mobile Developer with deep expertise in Android, iOS, and Flutter to architect, build, and lead the development of high-performance mobile applications. As the technical leader of the mobile team, you will guide product direction, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of clean, scalable, and well-tested code across platforms. This role requires a hands-on leader who is equally strong in native mobile development and cross-platform Flutter development, with a passion for product quality, UI/UX excellence, and modern engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership & Architecture Lead the design and development of mobile applications for Android, iOS, and Flutter. Define architectural standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for multi-platform development. Make key technology decisions and evaluate frameworks, tools, libraries, and cloud services. Review and optimize mobile application performance, scalability, and security. 2. Hands-On Development Develop robust, maintainable codebases in: Kotlin/Java for Android Swift/Objective-C for iOS Dart for Flutter Build advanced UI/UX experiences, animations, and custom components. Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud services, push notifications, and platform-specific features. Manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases. 3. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead a team of mobile developers (Flutter, Android, iOS). Provide code reviews, technical coaching, and continuous upskilling. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to align technical solutions with strategic goals. Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and foster a high-performance engineering culture. 4. Quality Assurance & Delivery Implement automated testing strategies (unit, widget, integration, UI tests). Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with platform guidelines (Google Play and App Store). Oversee release cycles, versioning, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot critical production issues and lead root-cause analysis. 5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication Work closely with UX/UI teams to deliver smooth, polished user experiences. Translate product requirements into technical designs and development tasks. Present architectural choices and technical trade-offs to leadership. Collaborate with DevOps/security teams on environment setup and app hardening. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5–8+ years of professional mobile development experience. Strong expertise in: Android (Kotlin/Java) iOS (Swift/Objective-C) Flutter (Dart) Proven experience delivering complex mobile apps at scale. In-depth knowledge of: Mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Bloc, Redux) API integration and state management App lifecycle, concurrency, and memory management Experience with Firebase, AWS Amplify, or similar cloud services. Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions). Preferred Qualifications Experience leading or managing a mobile engineering team. Working knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET, or similar). Understanding of analytics, A/B testing, and feature flagging. Experience with app security practices (encryption, secure storage, device-level permissions). Contributions to open-source projects or published apps in the Play Store/App Store. Knowledge of cross-platform performance optimization and native integrations for Flutter plugins. Soft Skills Strong leadership and communication skills.
