About the Role: We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled QA engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch software.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing:

  • Design, write, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues early in the development cycle

Automation Testing:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the development team.
  • Continuously improve and refactor automation scripts to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
  • Identify and recommend tools and technologies to optimize the testing process.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clear and concise documentation of testing procedures, results, and best practices.

Quality Assurance Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve the QA process and contribute to the development and implementation of QA best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the QA process remains current and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Good to have

  • Experience in performance and security testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
