Job Overview Nexus Jobs is seeking a dedicated Junior Python Developer for a full-time position located in Mohali. As a Python Developer, you will work collaboratively within a dynamic team to support diverse projects in our portfolio. Your focus will include the development and maintenance of web applications and services, requiring a strong foundation in Python and related frameworks and tools. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Python programming language with a solid understanding of its standard library and ideal debugging practices. Experience with Django (Mandatory skill) for building robust web applications with a focus on maintainability and performance. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (Mandatory skill) for designing and optimizing complex database queries and schemas. Familiarity with Flask for building lightweight and robust web services and deploying on varied hosting platforms. Working experience with AWS services for deploying secure and scalable web applications and managing cloud infrastructures. Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs to ensure smooth integration and data interchange across systems. Experience in MongoDB for storing and retrieving non-relational data, suitable for applications requiring flexibility in data models. Understanding and application of FastAPI for fast and effective development of high-performance web APIs. Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features using the latest technologies. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that complies with best practices and standards set by the project leaders. Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance the quality and efficiency of the development process. Analyze and resolve technical and application issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of solutions delivered. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for newly developed capabilities and provide training as required. Engage in regular brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and improve solutions offered by the organization.
