Job Description: QA Pathology Coding
Location: Bangalore / Coimbatore
Work Mode: Work from Office
Experience: 3 - 8 years
Qualification: Any graduation
Certification: CPC / COC / CCS (mandatory)
Openings: 5
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit coded medical records for Pathology and Toxicology reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
- Identify and correct coding errors while ensuring adherence to payer-specific guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to coders on pathology and toxicology coding standards.
- Monitor coding quality metrics and ensure QA benchmarks are consistently met.
- Collaborate with operations and training teams to address recurring errors and process gaps.
- Stay updated with CMS, AMA, and AAPC guidelines, as well as regulatory updates in pathology and toxicology coding.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Clinical Pathology and Toxicology coding.
- Hands-on experience with CPT codes Pathology & Laboratory section).
- Good understanding of drug testing codes, molecular pathology codes, and toxicology panels.
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and feedback delivery skills.
