JSW Sports is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team in Mumbai.


Job Description:

  • Drive the Research & Data Analytics function at JSW Sports to support the Commercial & Marketing Team
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape to gather valuable insights that will inform our sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs, objectives, and pain points, and tailor research findings to address these effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to share insights that could enhance the team’s communication strategy and execution plan
  • Lead the organisation’s mandates with external partners as well as driving commissioning of new studies/research reports
  • Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present research findings in a visually engaging and persuasive manner.
  • Assist in identifying and prospecting new clients, researching key decision-makers, and gathering relevant information to support outreach efforts.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the media industry to continuously refine and enhance our sales pitches and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and account management, to leverage their expertise and insights in crafting client proposals.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed to provide research-based insights and support the sales team in closing deals.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of sales pitches and proposals, gathering feedback and insights to optimize future efforts.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to the sales team, including ad-hoc research requests, data analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, data analysis, market research, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong desire to contribute to the success of our sales & marketing team and our clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to extract meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis tools, and presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for turning data into actionable recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, multitasking effectively and managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
