Chartered Accountant

Whizz HR is looking for enthusiastic and passionate CA to work for a leading digital firm (3+ work experience) .
Roles and responsibilities in a nutshell but not limited to:
An Ideal candidate would be someone who
● Setup and own functioning of all accounting aspects in the travel or ECommerce D2C
business.
● Review and develop policies in close collaboration with controllers, set up scalable
processes, ensure timely book closure, inventory management/accounting, and
consolidation of entities/investments.
● Hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, Payable all while
ensuring the company’s internal protocols and SOPs are followed.
● Interface with auditors for statutory audits; align timelines with investor reporting.-
Drive all statutory and tax compliances such as TDS, TCS, GST, RBI, MCA, etc.- and
Prepare periodic tax returns with local tax advisors, reconcile tax accounts
● Interface with the business for appropriate accounting/tax constructs: Eg. agreements
with marketplaces, managing merchant/reseller contracts, etc.-
● Collaborate with business finance to help in automation where possible, ensuring
timely and accurate data capture between accounting systems, internal databases &
SaaS applications.-
● Identify areas of intercompany relationships, risk areas, and develop mitigation
strategies- Hire, manage, mentor and provide development path for team members,
training, motivating and addressing performance issues.
● Record invoices in a timely manner with accuracy and consistency
● Ensure international employee expenses and suppliers' invoices are paid on time
● Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, P&L, and balance sheet)
● Record monthly payroll entries
● Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of various legal, financial, and
tax registrations
Prerequisites:-
● Have a thorough understanding of balance sheets, cash flow, MIS reports, working
with CS, ever-changing Tax laws, petty cash system, tally, payrolls, GST
● Proven experience as Finance Manager/Senior Manager in a high-growth
eCommerce setting
● Should be very comfortable using G-suite and Google products
● Excellent Communication (written and verbal) in the English Language
● An eye for detail along with high benchmarks for quality
● Great people skills and team management skills
● Ability to fit in well within an informal startup environment and to provide hands-on
management
● High energy level and untiring commitment to drive oneself & the team towards goals
