Job Description:

Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data analysis, and reports.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure banking technology solutions meet the strategic needs of the company.
  • Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software.
  • Develop and review business requirements, and transform them into functional design specifications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the implementation of new or improved systems and processes.

Category Wise Technical Skills:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

Systems Analysis:

  • Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and business process models (BPM).
  • Understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC).

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Knowledge of corporate and investment banking regulations and compliance standards.

Integration & Implementation:

  • Experience with systems integration and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking sectors.
  • Proven track record of successful project completions in banking environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and SQL database management.

Day-to-Day Activity:

  • Collaborate with business users to refine business processes and requirements.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Perform data analysis to support business decisions and project requirements.
  • Document and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist in prioritization and management of backlogs and project timelines.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP), Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM), or SQL are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
