Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager, OTC – Credit Management.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the order to cash Credit Management process. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for financial management, we invite you to apply for this role.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for Managing Credit Limits for clients in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) after vetting all relevant documents.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Analyze financial information and credit reports with precision.
- Establish and diligently monitor credit limits.
- Ensure customers adhere to agreed-upon credit limits and terms.
- Maintain a daily workload, prioritizing tasks to achieve zero backlog.
- Promptly resolve customer queries, escalating and following up when necessary.
- Conduct thorough data validation and initial credit assessments.
- Collaborate with credit agencies for data analysis in adherence to established processes.
- Manage credit limit setup and maintenance.
- Periodically review credit limits in coordination with the team leader.
- Provide recommendations for changes in credit limits and terms.
- Monitor credit exposure and oversee order hold/release activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, exhibit mastery of ERP systems, and showcase meticulous documentation skills.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Collaborate with various departments to efficiently resolve issues.
- Deliver effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Provide mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take a proactive leadership approach, championing continuous improvement efforts within the team.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualification
- B.Com Graduate
- Relevant experience
Preferred Qualification
- Strong credit control knowledge
- Advanced user of Excel
- Knowledge of SAP /S4 Hana
- Ability to act on own initiative
- Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility
- Ability to handle multifaceted volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis
- Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement
- Exercises good judgement on day-to-day business problems and provides recommendations for solving course correction
